A training academy is provided for associates and the associates of the Franchisees. The curriculum offered by the academy encompasses the requisites for the businesses – including managerial, selling, warehousing, human resources and customer care.
The Employment Equity Plan adopted by the Group, with input from the associates, reflects the current demographic split at management level, together with the interim target set. Management constantly monitors this process to ensure the objectives are exceeded.
Management also fully embraces, as a key business initiative, the need for an integrated Aids pandemic. This is being done using a multi-faceted approach from awareness to post-contracted psychological and physical assistance programmes.
